About me
I am a BACP registered existential psychotherapist working with individuals, in person and online.
For many years I worked in the community sector often with people who were disadvantaged and marginalised. More recently I have specialised with people struggling with alcohol use. I have worked with individuals in various settings, including community organisations, the NHS and the private sector. This background has given me a breadth of experience with people from all walks of life.

How I work
My approach is primarily existential which aims to bring awareness and insights to issues and difficulties in your life. I approach therapy as a ‘fellow traveller’ with acceptance of whatever you bring or want to work with. Issues or difficulties you are dealing with will be respected and I will engage with you in an accepting, confidential and non-judgemental way while providing a space for self-reflection.
Whatever you are facing I will listen to you attentively and help you gain perspective and a deeper understanding of where you are.
Are you feeling dissatisfied and would like to make changes?
Issues I have worked with include:
Relationship difficulties
Help managing feelings, stress and burnout
Lack of meaning and purpose
Addiction issues
Coming to terms with grief and loss
Anxiety and depression
